Our Pastor

Thank you for visiting the website of the First Christian Church of Burnet. I am Rev. Dawn Rosignol, the Senior Minister, but please call me Dawn or Pastor Dawn. I came to serve this congregation in September after serving a 2-year student pastorate in Wilmer, Texas while attending seminary.

Following a career in corporate accounting, I began seminary studies in 2000 and graduated from Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University with a Master’s of Theological Studies degree in 2003. After returning to Brite in 2005 for the completion of the additional education requirements for ordination, I was ordained to Christian ministry in June 2007 at my home church, First Christian Church in Rowlett, Texas.

My passion is to serve the church wherever and however God calls me to serve. I believe that God calls every one of us to serve in some way and be included in the church community. So in addition to preaching and teaching, God has focused my attention on helping people find ways to serve and make a difference in this world and to be welcomed in the church.

Our website gives you a glimpse into the ministry that Jesus has entrusted to us here at First Christian Church of Burnet. We would be honored if you would come by for a visit.
