First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Burnet, Texas, is a church that joyfully receives the love and grace of God, made evident in the person of Jesus Christ, as we seek to serve as Jesus’ hands and feet in the world.

It is our mission to be a welcoming congregation that promotes a sense of true belonging. We affirm that all people are children of God, so we strive to nurture faith in God, build relationships, and share the compassion of Christ with all whom we encounter.

We witness, by action and words, to those who need to experience the Good News of Jesus Christ.

We are part of a denomination called the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and relate to the Bluebonnet Area and Southwest Region on that denomination.
