Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as changing lights bulbs in the church or to handing out church bulletins.

Mission Outreach

Regionally, we are involved with:

Southwest Good Samaritan Ministries in Los Fresnos

Inman Christian Center in San Antonio

Regional Men’s Missions

Globally, we support a variety of ministries through our Disciples Mission Fund, through Week of Compassion offerings that provide assistance in crises around the world, and through Church World Service (CWS) by sending food, clothing, blankets and other necessities to areas in crises.

We believe that education is very important and therefore contribute to Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) institutions of higher learning and seminaries. We also have an educational fund which provides scholarships to students needing assistance.

Locally, our ministries include: Country Oaks Assisted Living worship services, LACare, community food pantry, Angel Tree and other support for foster children in the Child Welfare system Children’s Advocacy Center Meal on Wheels, Family Crisis Center and many other local groups
